Description
NICON buffers could be used for storing any format of serial data. Besides being designed to fit seamlessly into the PBX environment to facilitate telephone management, it has applications where serial data needs to be accumulated and stored. The next generation of buffers incorporates internet protocols which present the full suite of functionality which includes Modem access, PPP, FTP, Ethernet, DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP/IP.
